Danbury is more than just a City!
Danbury is Connecticut's seventh-largest city, was once the hub of the American hat industry, producing over 5 million hats a year. As a result it was given the nickname of “The Hat City of the World”, later shortened to just “Hat Cit”.
Danbury has many family-friendly parks, including the infamous Tarrywile Park with over 722 acres of hiking trails, plus Candlewood Lake to fulfill your boating, fishing, and swimming desires. Its vibrant downtown has a plethora of restaurants and shops, where during the summer months, host a series of concerts and other outdoor events.
